A. Consider a Resolution authorizing an agreement with Greater Longview United Way (“GLUW”) to use the Broughton Recreation Center from January 25, 2016, until April 14, 2016, for GLUW’s volunteer income tax assistance program – Keith Bonds, Assistant City Manager.
B. Consider a Resolution awarding a contract to and authorizing and directing the City Manager or the City Manager’s designee to execute any necessary documents with C&C Logging & Tree Service of Longview, Texas for athletic complex mowing services – Dwayne Archer, Assistant Public Works Director.
C. Consider a Resolution awarding a contract to and authorizing and directing the City Manager or the City Manager’s designee to execute any necessary documents with Excel Utility Construction of Longview, Texas in the amount of $332,638.25 for the construction of the 2015 CDBG Lake Drive Improvements Project – Rolin McPhee, P.E., Director of Public Works.
D. Consider a Resolution awarding a contract to and authorizing and directing the City Manager or the City Manager’s designee to execute any necessary documents with Excel Utility Construction of Longview, Texas in the amount of $199,650.00 for the construction of the FM 2275 Utility Relocations at Graystone and McCann Roads Project in support of the TXDOT George Richey Road extension – Rolin McPhee, P.E., Director of Public Works.
E. Consider a Resolution authorizing the Longview Community Services Department to apply for and accept a grant from the Sabine River Authority of Texas for development assistance for the Longview Arboretum and Nature Center, and authorizing and directing the City Manager or his designee to execute any necessary documents incident to applying for and securing and expending said grant – Laura Hill, Director of Community Services.
F. Consider approval of the following minutes: October 29, 2015, and November 12, 2015 – Shelly Ballenger, City Secretary.
