Consent Agenda - A. Consider a Resolution approving and authorizing the City Manager or the City
Manager’s designee to execute a mutual aid radio frequency access
agreement between the City of Longview and Judson Metro Volunteer Fire
Department, Inc., for improving interagency emergency communications –

B. Consider a Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager or the City
Manager’s designee to execute any necessary documents for the purchase of
ruggedized laptops using the City ‘s participation in the State of Texas
Department of Information Resources (DIR) cooperative purchasing

agreement for an amount not to exceed $89,000.00 – Justin Cure, Director of
Information Services.
C. Consider an Ordinance authorizing city staff to acquire a certain property
located at 103 Edwin Street, within the legal description of Tract 2, Section 4,
A. R. Johnson Survey A-2, City of Longview, Gregg County, Texas, designated
as parcel 2020-P-007, according to the City's numbering system, in fee simple
along with settlement, all for the aggregate amount of $31,500.00. - Rolin
McPhee, P.E., Director of Public Works.
D. Consider a Resolution authorizing the City Manager or the City Manager’s
designee to enter into licensing agreements allowing for the placement of
Balloon Sculptures at specified downtown locations within City-owned rightof-
way as part of the Longview 150 Balloon Sculpture Project - Michael
Shirley, AICP, Director of Development Services.
E. Consider approval of the following minutes: October 8, October 22,
November 12, November 17, and December 10, 2020– Angie Shepard, City
Secretary.
