Estes Parkway Revitalization Sweep - On March 30, 2017, City of Longview staff from various departments visited businesses along the highly-traveled Estes Parkway entryway focusing on code compliance. They identified issues such as dilapidated buildings, junk, and overgrown lots. The goal is to work with the businesses to beautify the important corridor, which was one of the priorities of Longview's Comprehensive Plan. The same approach has also been used recently in various neighborhoods and more are scheduled in the near future as part of an overall revitalization effort.
