A. Consider a Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager or the City Manager’s designee to execute any necessary documents for the purchase of Fire Department uniforms via the city’s purchasing agreement with the local government purchasing cooperative administered by the Texas Association of School Boards (“TASB Buyboard”) – Hank Hester, Assistant Fire Chief.

B. Consider an Ordinance amending Section 4-84 of the Longview City Code to eliminate the position of Secretary on the Parks and Recreation Board – Scott Caron, Director of Parks and Recreation.

C. Consider a Resolution awarding a contract to and authorizing and
directing the City Manager or the City Manager’s designee to execute any
documents with American Blast for the purchase of ballistic vests for the
police department – Mike Bishop, Police Chief.

D. Consider a Resolution awarding a contract to and authorizing and
directing the City Manager or the City Manager’s designee to execute any
necessary documents with McInnis Brothers Construction, Inc., of Minden,
Louisiana, in the amount of $1,446,000 for the construction of Lake
Cherokee Water Treatment Plant Improvements, Filter Rehabilitation
Project – Rolin McPhee, P.E., Director of Public Works.

Consider a Resolution approving of a change in ATMOS Energy
Corporation, Mid-Tex Division’s (“ATMOS”) rates as a result of settlement
between ATMOS and the ATMOS Texas Municipalities (“ATM”) under the
rate review mechanism for 2017 – Jim Finley, City Attorney.

Consider an Ordinance repealing Chapter 64 of the Longview City Code
and enacting a new Chapter 81 to said code in order to make City
ordinances relating to City-owned and City-operated recreational facilities
consistent with current conditions and practices – Scott Caron, Director of
Parks and Recreation.
