A. Consider a Resolution appointing the Mayor Pro Tem – Mayor and City Council.

B. Consider a Resolution making appointments, reappointments, and chair
designations to various city boards, commissions, and committees – Nona
Snoddy, Council Member District 2 and David Wright, Council Member District 5.

C. Consider a Resolution to approve the Fiscal Year 2017 – 2018 Housing
Choice Voucher Administrative Plan and PHA Plan and supporting policy
documents – Cheteva Marshall, Housing Manager.

D. Consider a Resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager or the
City Manager’s designee to execute any necessary documents using a
federal grant for the purchase of a paratransit vehicle in an amount not to
exceed $88,688.00 via the city’s participation in the State of Texas
cooperative purchasing program – Scott Lewis, General Manager, Longview Transit.

by Yolanda Barron requesting to rezone approximately 6.80 acres of
Abstract 186 D. Sanchez Survey, Tract 22, Section 5 from Agriculture (A)
to Planned Development – Commercial (PD-Commercial) located east of
Gilmer Road and north of East George Richey Road – Michael Shirley,
AICP, Director of Development Services. THIS REQUIRES A PUBLIC HEARING.

A PUBLIC HEARING will be held to consider application #S17-02 filed by
Amy Calk requesting a Specific Use Permit (SUP) to allow for an Indoor
Amusement (Escape Room) in a General Retail zoning district for Lot 3,
Block 1 Park Place located at 1905 West Loop 281, Suite 63 – Michael
Shirley, AICP, Director of Development Services. THIS REQUIRES A PUBLIC HEARING.

Item VIII C

A PUBLIC HEARING will be held to consider #M17-01 amending Articles
17 and 22 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Longview to restrict the
number of individuals who may occupy a one-family dwelling or a single
dwelling unit, enact other requirements and definitions related to said
restriction, and allow a two-year amortization period for existing uses that
do not comply with said restriction or related requirements – Michael
Shirley, AICP, Director of Development Services. THIS REQUIRES A PUBLIC HEARING.
