Consent Agenda - A. Consider a Resolution authorizing the City Manager or the City Manager’s designee to execute and submit any necessary documents for the application for, receipt of, and expenditure for a state grant award from the Texas Commission on the Arts, in an amount not to exceed $200,000 to be used to support the Arts! Longview Cultural District – Laura Hill, Director of Community Services.
B. Consider a Resolution approving an amendment to the CDBG Action Plan for FY 2014-2015 - Dakota Brown – Community Development Administrator.
C. Consider a Resolution authorizing the City Manager or the City Manager’s designee to execute and submit any necessary documents for the application for, acceptance, and expenditure of the ALA COVID Library Relief Grant from the American Library Association in the sum of $35,000.00 to pay for hypoallergenic furniture, partitions, and cleaning supplies – Jennifer Eldridge, Library Manager.
D. Consider a Resolution to approve the FY21-22 Housing Choice Voucher Annual Plan and supporting policy documents – Cheteva Marshall Nickerson, Housing Manager.
E. Consider a Resolution awarding a contract to and authorizing and directing the City Manager or the City Manager’s designee to execute any necessary documents with Leland Bradlee Construction, Inc. of Longview, Texas, in the amount of $187,463.30 for the construction of the 2021 Overlay Project – Rolin McPhee, P.E., Director of Public Works.
F. Consider a Resolution authorizing the City Manager or his designee to negotiate and execute an agreement with Cable One, Inc d/b/a Sparklight for an amount not to exceed $112,200 for reimbursement of the City of Longview’s costs associated with additional right-of-way permit review and utility locator services – Rolin McPhee, P.E., Director of Public Works.
G. Consider approval of the following minutes: May 11, May 13 and May 27, 2021 – Angie Shepard, City Secretary.
