A. Consider a Resolution to apply for and accept Fiscal Year 2017 Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) from the U.S. Department of Justice in the amount of $32,064.00 to be used for crime prevention initiatives – Holly Fuller, Partners in Prevention Manager.

B. Consider a Resolution authorizing and directing the application for, acceptance, receipt, transfer and expenditure of a grant in an amount not to exceed $25,000.00 sponsored by the Levitt Foundation to support One Hundred Acres of Heritage, Inc., programs for enhancement of downtown music series – Melida Heien, Main Street Coordinator.

C. Consider a Resolution awarding a contract in the amount of $85,826.00 to
Curtis-McKinley Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc., of Longview, Texas, for the
construction of the Transit Building Roof Renovations – Rolin McPhee,
P.E., Director of Public Works.

D. Consider a Resolution awarding a contract in the amount of $790,183.00
to Lopez Utilities Contractor, LLC, of Houston, Texas, for the construction
of High and Franklin Street Sewer System Improvements – Rolin McPhee,

A PUBLIC HEARING will be held to consider application #S17-04 filed by
Liberty Baptist Church of Longview, Texas, requesting a Specific Use
Permit (SUP) to allow for a restaurant with a drive-thru window in General
Retail zoning district for approximately 1.882 acres of Lot 2, Block 1
Liberty Baptist Church Addition located at 1500 West Loop 281 – Angela
Choy, AICP, City Planner. THIS ITEM REQUIRES A PUBLIC HEARING.

A PUBLIC HEARING will be held to consider application #Z17-06 filed by
Leslie Elmore and Leroy Elmore, Jr., to rezone approximately 1.86 acres

(A) to Office (O) zoning district located on the east side of McCann Road
