Presenting a vision for our city: Longview Comprehensive Plan Community Meeting

The Longview Comprehensive Plan Committee invites the public to learn and give feedback about a draft document that will help shape the city’s future for years to come. Over the course of the past year, the Longview Comprehensive Plan Committee has utilized input from residents to help develop a long-term plan for Longview on topics including parks, transportation, city facilities, land use, development standards, population projections, economic development and more.
The draft plan document is available online at LongviewTexas.gov/plan. Residents are encouraged to read the document and provide feedback by Dec. 15, 2014. Following the opportunity for feedback and revision, a completed version of the Longview Comprehensive Plan is expected to be presented to the City Council for consideration in late winter or early spring 2015.
