Longview Police Dept. Open Carry Public Meeting - On January 1, 2016, the new Open Carry handgun law will go into effect. In order to inform the citizens of Longview about this law and what it means to them, the Longview Police Department is conducting three public meetings at the Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Center.
